The ECM Synchronika II is a top-of-the-line espresso machine that blends German engineering with Italian design for an unparalleled coffee experience. This dual boiler machine is perfect for both home baristas and small cafes, delivering professional-level performance and precision.
Key Features:
-
Dual Boiler System:
- The Synchronika II features two independent stainless steel boilers. The brew boiler has a capacity of 0.75 liters, while the steam/hot water boiler holds 2.0 liters. This allows for simultaneous brewing and steaming, ensuring optimal temperature stability and efficiency for crafting the perfect espresso and frothing milk.
-
PID Temperature Control:
- Equipped with a PID controller, the Synchronika II offers precise temperature management for both boilers. This feature allows for fine-tuning the brewing temperature, ensuring consistent and delicious results every time. The PID display also includes a shot timer and can be easily switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
-
E61 Group Head:
- The iconic E61 group head, known for its excellent thermal stability and even extraction, is featured in the Synchronika II. This legendary design is favored by professional baristas for its reliability and performance. The group head also has a pre-infusion function that saturates the coffee puck before the full pressure is applied, ensuring a more even extraction.
-
Rotary Pump:
- The powerful rotary pump provides quiet operation and consistent pressure, essential for creating high-quality espresso. It operates at 9 bars of pressure and can be adjusted if necessary. The pump also allows the machine to be plumbed directly into a water line or used with its internal 3-liter water reservoir for added convenience.
-
Stainless Steel Construction:
- Crafted with high-quality stainless steel, the Synchronika II boasts a sleek and durable design. Its modern aesthetic complements any kitchen or café setting, while its robust build ensures longevity. The machine also features polished stainless steel housing and custom-made, height-adjustable feet.
-
Customizable Options:
- Personalize your machine with various options, such as wood accents (knobs and handles) or colored side panels. These customizations allow you to match the Synchronika II to your personal style and décor.
-
Large Water Tank and Drip Tray:
- The spacious 3-liter water tank and generously sized drip tray reduce the need for frequent refills and emptying, making the machine suitable for high-volume use. The water tank is easily removable for cleaning and refilling.
-
Steam and Hot Water Wands:
- The articulating steam wand and dedicated hot water spout provide flexibility and convenience for creating a wide range of beverages, from silky microfoam to Americanos. The steam wand is insulated to prevent burns and features a 2-hole steam tip for precise frothing.
-
Quick Heat-Up Time:
- Thanks to its efficient heating elements, the Synchronika II heats up quickly, so you can enjoy your coffee without long waits. The machine is ready to brew within 15 minutes and can reach steaming temperature within 20 minutes.
